Homemade Oat Milk

Here’s a trendy dairy-free milk that you can make at home with just two ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 3 cups filtered water

Methodology

  1. Soak oats in water for at least 1 hour. In JAWZ High performance Blender, blend mixture on high for about 1 minute or until blended.
  2. Strain through nut milk bag or cheesecloth, squeezing milk from oats. (Can be refrigerated in airtight container for up to 1 week.)

Tips

  • Sweeten with pitted dates or add a dash of vanilla extract if desired.

  • Use this dairy-free oat milk in smoothies, coffee or tea.
