Ingredients

  • 4 cups kale leaves
  • 1 cup packed fresh basil
  • 1 1/3 cups olive oil
  • 1/2 cup toasted pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper

Methodology

  1. In JAWZ High performance Blender, combine kale, basil, olive oil, pine nuts, Romano cheese, lemon zest, garlic, salt and pepper; blend on medium-high speed until smooth.

Tips

  • Substitute walnuts or almonds for pine nuts if desired.
